Breakfast was good! Check in was smooth! Heat didnt work in the lobby area. Asked for extra pillows, the man said they didnt have any in the back. He didnt even check. I mean it was 2am so he probably didnt want to check. Next morning, asked for a wash cloth. They said they didnt have any clean.

This hotel is awesome, the staff were magnificent and congenial. It's all suites with kitchenettes, super spacious with two TVs. Long corridors so you don't have to actually pass through the lobby if you don't want to, but if you do there's a pool table and a bar. The bar is very limited and expensive. The pantry is limited and expensive. The breakfast is basic continental, bacon, eggs hash browns. It felt homely and the guests were a good mix. The police eat breakfast here

Some staff are wonderful but the main problem I had was with the gm Annie she avoid guests complaints and when she do speak to you she try to belittle you and talk to you as a child and for some reason she love saying that she smarter than that whatever that means. I also believe that she overprice people when booking and pocket the money for her self. I do believe that Hyatt needs to do better on who they choose to represent them on running They hotels because if they have any one like Annie representing them they going to lose a lot of business. The only good thing I can say is breakfast is amazing the omelette guy was very well mannered and the omelette was delicious the kitchen manager made sure the food never ran out and she was so sweet. the shuttle driver made the ride easier due to me getting car sick when I ride with others that the only good thing I got out of my visit.

Hyatt House Charlotte Airport S Tryon is extremely dated and doesn't smell or look clean upon entry to the lobby and guest room. This is the 1st Hyatt I've visited that I felt compelled to write a negative review. I tried breakfast this morning but the eggs were overcooked with brown showing they were cooked too long. Honestly because the hotel didn't appear clean and sanitized, I had no desire to eat there. Positives: Close proximity to airport and my family. Front desk staff friendly and accommodating. In my opinion, this hotel is due for a COMPLETE remodel.

Most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room had buckled floor planks from previous water damage and food and dirt between them that should have been vacuumed up. Room was on the first floor and it smelled like marijuana throughout the lobby and halls. The bathroom off the lobby was filthy. The entire hotel was just dirty. I can handle a bit of run down appearance but not filth. If we hadnt arrived so late we would have left and went to another hotel. This is the first hotel in many many years I felt the need to check for bed bugs. The breakfast area wasnt what we were told there was no omelette station. No one was there attending the food area, they were outside smoking. Tables were dirty. Noisy hotel. Large cracks between door and hall. Just didnt feel comfortably safe. Stay somewhere else.

Flight got cancelled and couldnt get home. Booked this hotel and it wildly exceeded my expectations. Shuttle picked us up and about 10 ppl were trying to check in late at night. Brandy and her colleague handled it efficiently and kindly. They brought out emergency toiletries and bottled water which was very appreciated. I was too discombobulated to catch the ladys name that helped me with check in but she was very knowledgeable and seamlessly corrected a billing error (I think I made). The room is very basic but well stocked, spotless and comfortable. The bed was pretty nice and definitely comfortable. I like that there was minimal carpet. The suite was huge and would have accommodated 4-6 people (2 queens and a sofa bed). After a few short hours I went Back to the front desk to catch the shuttle. I was met with a cheery good morning from Brandy! However I had missed my ride by a few minutes. She called another hotel and had their shuttle swing by so I wouldnt miss my flight. While I waited, she offered me coffee. Tonya was putting out quite a large breakfast array and introduced herself and offered any help I needed. She let me know there was a fresh pot of coffee on the way. About 2 minutes later, she emerged with fresh coffee and a halo over her head (Im pretty sure). I barely had time to pour the coffee and the shuttle was there. It was a good cup of coffee and I take my coffee VERY seriously. I definitely recommend this hotel. And, Im pretty particular. Considering I slept in the clothes I arrived in, its nearly miraculous that I can call this a good experience. However, the hotel far exceeded the expectations of this weary traveler. That can be attributed 100% to Brandy and Tonya and the housekeepers, the shuttle driver. and the rest of the dedicated staff. Thank you all for doing a great job with cheer!
