Awesome place but very dated in areas that should be up to date! I would call first before going to the museum because of the limited hours its open! Then not all of it is open when its open like the car display is closed sometimes!! Dale I think would not want it to be ran this way the only interview with DW Dale said he had it all the family the race shop for the kids and so on look it up and watch it Dale said he had it all! Then 2 days later the man in black was gone! Just my opinion for what its worth! Very disappointed in the way that DEI is being ran!! Go to RCR if you want to see a good display of the history of Dale !!

If you were a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. at all, you will appreciate this. It's not the largest exhibit, but it definitely takes you back to his glory days. Some reviews complain about the gift shop, but that's not what it's about anyways. Make the stop. #3 forever

Best place to visit for a true racing fan. The lady who worked there is amazing, she talked and told stories. She knew her racing history and was great to talk with. Some of the clothes are a bit dated but it's still worth the visit.
